Karen,

There are two possibilities:
  1. Your web-browser's cookie-support is broken and is not accepting the cookie for the new forum ID.
  2. Your browser is caching the Configuration Area's pages and, therefore, you are seeing the configuration filled in for the prior forum.
The first is improbable, so first I will deal with the second. :) You should be able to click Reload/Refresh to see the proper forum configuration. If this doesn't give you the proper forum information filled in, please double-check the forum you are trying to configure, make sure you are entering in your forum ID and password and clicking Login, going to the proper section, clicking reload...

...If it still is not working, please let us know. I will be working on a fix for this anyway, for I am assuming it is your browser caching the page. Even though a reload should force your browser to reload the page, I will attempt to make sure configuration pages are not cached, as best I can, from our side.

For your information, caching means "keeping data in an easier-to access place". In this case, it means keeping pages stored on your local machine, instead of loading them from our site over and over. This way, moving Forward and Backward between pages is fast, whereas when you Reload a page it must be loaded, again, over the network from our system.

I hope Reload/Refresh helps.

Sincerely,
Brandon
