Hi- I'm not "staff" but I check this for my own info, so I answer questions that I can (just so no one gets confused and starts "demanding" explanations from me.)
If you go into your config area, you need to uncheck "medium" and choose "condendensed" or "compact" , I forget the exact term they use.
I myself hate having to click on the main post to read it,so I have mine set up to display the main post fully.I think this encourages more responses, but that's just my own preferance/opinion.
