Forgive my ignorance but I'm really clueless on what the password system is used for. I was thinking that users would be able to chose their own secret password and login to a forum, this preventing anyone from using their handle. But I don't see how that is done. What exactly is the new password system for? Can anyone explain it to me simply? Is it just for the owners? I don't see how users can use it when they visit.
