I'm in the same position. I have a few books on Wicca/Paganism and related subjects. My mother thinks it's dangerous because she doesn't understand what Wicca is all about. She probably thinks it's satan worship or something. She once said to me "you're not still reading about that shit, are you?", and asked me why I don't just read the bible.
I just keep my books in my room where she doesn't have to see them, and I don't talk about anything Pagan related around her. It would probably be seen as deceptive to do things behind her back, but in my situation, I don't have a choice. If I did things her way, I would be a catholic again, and if I did things out in the open, with everyone knowing that I'm Wiccan, they would probably harrass me about it non stop.
