I agree! It sounds a little like a cross between 10th Avenue Freeze Out and something off the River album. I've seen Todd do it live, and I think his set is slowly moving away from the blues and more towards the Springsteen thing. His performance style is really similar already, and now the music is following suite. I don't know what the blues purists will make of it though...
