OT: Hummingbird blessing

Would like to share a very special treat that I experienced this morning. I got up early to water since it's predicted to be around 100! Yuck!!!

While I was also deadheading, I kept hearing hummingbird chatter and really didn't want to turn around and scare him away. Boy am I glad I turned around.

There he was darting in and out of the water that was bubbling out of our water globe. Next he maneuvered around and sat on the edge of the globe and proceeded to take a bath with the water spouting from the top!

A very special blessing that I will treasure, indeed!

Melody, things like that a such a joy to see. We have alot of birds in our area and I love to sit outside and just listen to them. We live in the country to there is alot of different kinds to see and hear. Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Bev(meme)

Hummingbirds are just so cute. I did put up a feeder once for them and had more ants than hummingbirds. So I went out and bought this thing that was suppose to keep unwanted creatures out. Didn't work. Tried so home remedies. Didn't work. Took down the feeder. Oh well. I do have a finch feeder and I get really pretty birds there.
