Subject: ::Morning Joy::

She-beast pranced happily into a lush clearing. Dial was held higher then usual, taking her appropriate and new stance. Warming gaze traveled across terra looking for her mate dubbed "Nutik". Stopping briefly she watched her pups rolling excitedly 'pon the soft green tresses beneath. Lowering muzzle to the ground she licked at the morning dew. Raising her stance once more, their was a few beads of liquid tangled in her fur. Rolling around she played with her pups Nyx, Rhi and Rivka.

*Shakira, Kalahari, and Zanake are sleeping peacefully in a pile. Nutik has chased his children around all night trying to get them to sleep. They had tired themselves from this game. The male chuckles as he watches his mate and the other three pups. He wags his tail and barks, happy to see them.*

As the sound of her mates howl fills her ears femme quickly stood up and shook her pelt trying to free the excess liquid and grass which was tangled in her fur. Barking to her children to get up and follow she sights the rest of her family and nudges the pups to come along. Nyx and Rhi pranced happily towards there father and siblings, though Rivka tagged along behind with her mother. Approaching Nutik, Charm stretched out her muzzle and nuzzled him lovingly.

*Nutik wags his tail and nuzzles his mate back. Zanake whimpers in his dreams and he nuzzles him, quieting him down. Kalahari rolls over in her sleep and bumps into Charm's leg, instantly awake. She barks in surprise and then wags her tail when she sees it's her mother. She nips at her mother's paw and smiles*

Large grin plays across the females face and as she sees Kalahari she lowers muzzle and licks her with a long pink tongue, almost making her lose her balance. Startled and worried she looks up and glances around frantically for Shakira. She had not seen her when she came in.

*Kalahari bats at Zanake as he growls and snaps in his sleep. He rolls on his back and kicks all for paws in the air, catching Kalahari on the nose. She yips and the giggles as her mother almost knocks her over. Nutik smiles at them and then sees the worry in Charm's eyes. He knows exactly what she's worried about, Shakira.

He looks around and then hears a whimper from behind him. Nutik gets really worried when he sees a hole behind him. He trots over and looks into it. Sitting at the bottom is Shakira, covered in the dirt and scared. when she sees her father's head poke over the head she tries to jump up to him, scratching at the side.

Nutik whimpers and sits on his haunches and looks down into the hole, ears flat against his head. Kalahari runs over to her daddy and Nutik has to grab her before she falls into the hole with her sister.*

Laughs at the sight of her pups playing, one still fast asleep. Hoping Nutik knew where Shakira was since she trusted him to be a good pupsitter for there children. Though when she hears scared whimpers from behind she leaps into the air and yelps, rushing to where the voice was coming from. Looking down within a hole of mud she sees the tiny form of fluff at the bottom. Crying out, limbs fall forward trying to reach her baby but she could grasp nothing. Soon she was found sticking her head and snapping at the air trying to catch hold of the soft fur which wrapped Shakira's delicate body.

*When Shakira sees her mother she tries to jump up to her too, but its too far up for her. She whimpers and whines. Nutik's hears and tail droop, feeling like he had failed his mate and pups, failed to protect the little additions to the family. If anything happens to Shakira, he wouldn't feel the same anymore. Shakira yip and whimpers for her mommy and daddy*

Whines and looks over to her mate. Expression was solemn and her body drooped. Raising muzzle she howls out,
~Somebody please help!~
Then she sighs and dial drops down to look at her pup.

*Nutik stands and walks around the hole where he starts to dig at the edge, trying to make a ramp of some sort. Some dirt showers down on Shakira and she yips as a small pepple hits her nose. Nutik bites his lip as he continues to dig without stopping.*

Noticing what her mate was doing she rushed over to his side and also began digging, dirt flew out from beneath her and some landed in Rivka's eyes. The pup jumped back and yelped, scrambling away in a moment of blindness. As Nyx realized what was happening he barked and ran off to find some help with Rhi running along close behind. Searching frantically he howled out to anyone who would listen.

*Nutik digs frantically and Shakira lays at the one end of the hole, hiding her face from dirt that slides down. She whimpers and Nutik tries to dig faster. Though he's tiring out from digging, he continues to dig, once in awhile paws slipping and showering dirt and dust onto Shakira.*

Continues to dig in a hurry, but limbs begin to get tired and worn out, making her slow down. Though she soon here's yips in the distance and as she turns dial to see what was going on she finds Nyx and Rhi trailing behind the Alpha, Kobe.

*Kobe trots over and grins at the two pups trailing him. He shakes his head, admiring pups' boundless energy. He peers down in the hole at Shakira and smiles down at her dirty form. She sneezes and barks up at him. He walks over to where Charm and Nutik had been digging.

After a minute of studying everything he moves farther toward the hole and then starts walking down the slope with his forepaws, digging his claws into the earth to keep from slipping. He wraps his jaws around Shakira's fragile body and slowly backs up. Kobe places Shakira on the ground and the pup instantly goes to her mommy and daddy*

Barks and wags her tail happily, nuzzling the dirty ball of fluff at her paws. She licks the pup clean and then looks up at Kobe,

*Kalahari sniffs along the ground and peers down in the hole. Then she sniffs around some more and follows the scent of a new wolf. She keeps her little sniffling nose to the ground until she finds a paw. She looks up slowly and barks at the new wolf.

This brings her brother, Zanake over. He sniffs the other male's paw and grins, running a circle around his foreleg, barking.*

*Nutik smiles lightly as he watches the antics of Kalahari and Zanke. He leans down and licks Shakira's lick and wags his tail. He doesn't mind if the pups are by Stolen Gift. He is, after all, a member of the pack.*

*Zanake nibbles on StolenGift's ankle and Kalahari sits by Gift's other paw, watching Zanake. She has a "better" idea and she hops up at Gift's tail, trying to catch a hold of it.*
