My idea:

The guild will consist of 2 ranks: Council member and Applicant. When you join the guild you'll become a Applicant. A Applicant you'll be untill the Council think you understand the rules and the idea of this guild. Then you'll become a Council member. The Council is the whole guild. Here everyone can say their opinion and force voting. Then we have the shining jewel of this system: The Guild Representatives. A Guild Representative is a person who's our "ambassador" to the DM's and the ones who help the members to feel comfortable in the worlds. We have one or two GRs in every world we play in. When you connect to a world and you see the GR there. You go and speak to him and he'll tell you which quests that are available, who's out there from the guild etc. The last "sub-rank" in the Council is Organiser. That's my rank :). A Organiser is a person who...ehh...organise. All who wish to become Organiser, GR are very welcome to it. All in the Council have ONE vote.

Now, time for critics...If you want to cahnge anything in the system or add someting...or if you have a own system, you are very welcome to share your ideas....through a reply to this thread of course :-).
