Whirlwind yipped to her pack, her sensitive maw had caught the scent of a caribou pack. Judging by the way one paticular scent wavered one was in harsh condition and would be easy for the skilled wolves to take down. Whirlwind knew that the whole pack would not be needed, nor did she trust leaving the terra alone. She also was slow to trust and was still wary of Black Kalagath, SpiritShadow, and the newest one. She slowly thought and a plan came to her.

Distant Echo, you, BK, SS, and Keana will stay here. The rest shall travel with me and we will bring down a caribou as close to the borders as possible. When you hear us howl, bring yourself and the three others as close to us as you can manage without veneturing out of the borders. We will drag the caribou towards the border & once there we shall eat. Not a lot but a snack. Then EVERYONE shall rip off a large portion on the prey and drag it back to the den where then we will eat.

The alpha and chosen ones sped off to the herd spurred onward by teh growling of their stomachs and the thought of the harsh winter before them. Both Whirlwind and the rest knew that Winter may have been easy so far but blizzards and harsh tempatures were on their way.
