Whirlwind tossed a glance at Distant Echo, and satisfied that she was trying she let out a snort and lay down. Her eyes closed and she fell into a light sleep. Suddenly, a few hours later she awoke with a start. A herd of elk were passing through, the perfect opportunity for a hunt.

She howled a message to the pack. Telling them to meet her by the rocky ledge. When they got there the pack would go for a hunt, Keana would watch at the edge of the herd incase of some small danger for the still young pup.
