Whirlwind's nose and ears perked as the scent of death came closer. She bared her teeth and prepared to defend her turf. Then a unpleasant memory came upon her...

*FLASHBACK*

Suddenly the Beta male ran out of the woods, biting everything in sight. As he struggled to get closer to Whirlwind her mother leapt infront of her and her littermates and barked a warning. Whirlwind ran off and a few days lter she ventured back. Most of her pak was dead, some were dying and all were thin and smelt of death. She ran off until she came upon another pack who raised her until she was old enough to leave.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

Whirlwind shook her head anxiously and turned to Distant Echo. Echo caught the meaning in her eyes and looked at Keana. Whirlwind raised her maw to the sky and let out a loud howl letting her pack know they would be leaving, going to the loners land until the death wolves went on their way.

((OOC - we wont actually post on Loners. Let's just post here but act like we aren't in Whisper Hollow, ok?))
