As the dense cloud cover incresed the wolves could make out the powerful silouette of Whilrwind. She lifted her black maw to the sky and howled a deep throaty song. The pack starting grinning at the familiar hunting song. She looked towards the east and ran, they followed her. Keana and Distant Echo behind her. She nodded to Distant Echo, making it clear that she was to lead the hunt and since the prey was weak and sickly, by no means challenging, she should lead Keana into the hunt. Whirlwind wasn't sick but was tired and exhausted because of her alpha responsibilitys. She was grateful for such a excellent Beta to help her and grinned thinking of the day when Distant Echo was young and inexpierenced. Barely old enough and mature enough to take down a sheep let alone the prey she was taking down now.
