Heya Boy:
I'm still here, just lurking more than usual. I've been doing a lot of writing, plus things heated up at work a bit... in a good way, I might add. Since my editor is on holiday still, I decided to crank out as much work as I could. It's an evil thing for me to do, but it is loving in a special manner.
I am just back in that writing zone, and I have a hard time escaping it. When I start to post, there is going to be quite a bit hitting the site at one time. Honestly, I am loving this every minute, and I am still around. All you have to do is look around the backyard. I am hiding behind the shrub piled with snow.
WHOO HOO! The warmest it's been here in the last 6 days was 14 F (or - 9 C). I have been loving it. Not a lot of snow, but the cold sure does feel nice. It was below zero F three morning in a row. I stand out on my balcony in nothing but my robe, drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. I think I got some frostbite on my left foot today, and it is great! Yes, I am not wearing shoes, socks or slippers when I stand out there. Call me the Ice Dragon! It finally feels like winter. At night, I can hear the lakes cracking as the ice grows thicker and condenses even more. It is such a cool sound. It is supposed to warm up to about 20 F (- 6 C), so I might get a little bummed out. Oh well, at least we did have some real cold weather!
