Subject: Sedona Electrical Problems

We bought a used 2004 Sedona with 25,ooo miles on it in 2007. It has had so many electrical problems. The car actually runs without the keys in it, it won't shut off or it won't turn on, the ignition had to be replaced because the gear wouldn't come out of park, the automatic door wouldn't unlock, the roof leaks and the windshield needed to be replaced(and does again now btw). I've had it back to the dealership 6 times in the past 2 years. The problems have not been fixed and now the warranty is expired and I owe $13000 on it still. The car has 40,000 miles on it and is falling apart. Kia doesn't seem to care, in fact they've been nothing short of rude to me. They actually said well, you did buy a used car so there was another owner before you, implying that the car actually isn't a lemon but it's the previous owners fault. They may as well have said tough s***. I've been stranded with my 2 and 4 year olds three times in it. We bought it because we thought it was a SAFE car!!! It's one of the worst decisions I have ever made. It's broken AGAIN at the dealership and I am being hit with bill after bill. I feel deceived and helpless. We are trapped in this money pit and there is no way out. I hope no one else makes the same mistake I did by purchasing a Kia of any kind.
