Subject: Disappointed in KIA Management at Aloha KIA, Nimitz, Hawaii

I was interested in a KIA Soul+, upon randomly inquiring about a KIA Soul+ through their receptionist, moments later Andrew Seinfeld (Sales Manager) contacted me. I shared my negative experience with him about the other KIA in Waipahu (Hawaii), he said don't worry, it will be your greatest experience, it will be quick and you won't be disappointed. He said, make me an offer? I said lets start at $16000. He said great, can I come in? I told him I could come in another night. He said he will have the colors I chose out up front and ready and I will be dealing only with him. When I showed up, he was not there, his boss John Brons was there and said, "I can make any deal he (Andrew Seinfeld)can make". I said great, but then he sent me to a salesman that played the basic game. I was patient; upon finally talking numbers, although the MSRP before options was $16K+, and the MSRP after options was $18,635...and even with the rebate he shared for military, $500 or so, and after Tax/Titles & License, the price was in the high $19K+ (as military our registration fee is only $25.00 which he knew). I asked why was the price so high even with rebates, specifically a noticeable $700.00 increase, the sales person Mario said kia needs to make something.) I was surprised and upset and felt my time was wasted for many reason to include those I tolerated: 1)Andrew Seinfeld (Sales Manager) seen it fit not to tell me he would not be there & I would deal w/ several others 2) John Brons (Store Manager) was not honest with me in giving me my additional qualified rebate of $750 as a current Loyal KIA owner 3) John Brons had no turnover from Andrews of what we talked about and what was agreed 4) They let me walk, and 5) Andrew Seinfeld called me the next day and left a message stating he heard I had a bad experience and asked me to call him, when I did, he was surprised, then asked for a call back number which I confirmed... as time went on, it was now 03 Jan 2011, a month has past and we are in the New Year and I am still yet to hear from him. I was a sincere ready buyer trying o make a purchase. Since then, we have given up on KIA and their SOUL+ and are now seeking a SCION XB. I will do my best to share my experience to not only my military friends and co-workers, but as a local boy also from Hawaii, my message will go to my island family and friends as well and to anyone that mentions..."KIA" on NIMITZ! Aloha! Respectfully, Ray Ruiz (808)489-6272
