Subject: 2006 KIA Sedona FIVE transmissions!

I am glad to have found this forum and I am even running an FB page to get the word out! I have to say, you are NOT alone! We have been trying to fight Kia for years now, and have gotten nothing but surly remarks from their representatives and anguish with their company in whole.
We have had trouble with our 2006 sedona just 1 week after buying it brand new! The transmission gave out and we had flashing dashboard lights and no cruise control. We had to have three transmissions put in!

Fast forward to 3 years down the road and 52k mileage and we have ANOTHER issue.. Transmission is going out AGAIN. Lights are on AGAIN. We call Kia and are told that we didn't service it with THEIR garage so they won't honor the warranty! We paid A LOT extra for our 100k or 10 year piece of crap!

Long story short, we are now on our FIFTH transmission bought FROM Kia, and installed by a REPUTABLE transmission company which is now going out AGAIN, complete with the dashboard lights and they STILL won't accept ANY responsibility!

BUYER BEWARE!
