When we started up this site and developed the on-line market place we had intended it to be a place where buyers and sellers could connect and possibly create a real estate transaction -- a free service on this site. Throughout the summer and fall we watched the forum take off and we watched the amount of traffic increase each day.
But now the forum has come to a screaching hault and I have to wonder what happened. The real estate market might be a little slow at the beginning of the year, but I think there is more to the forum coming to a screaching hault. When we created the Real Estate Solutions page, we encouraged people to use this forum to buy and sell real estate. We created a well organized process of having your own email address to protect your privacy and encourgaged you buy and sell on this forum for free.
However, the forum died after that and now I see that it served a much greater purpose. People were posting on the forum to ask about homes for sale on my inventory page and people were freely interacting and talking real estate. So here's what I want to say: Don't feel that this forum is strictly for setting up your own account and selling your home with this service for free. Please, if you have questions about our inventory or just want to talk real estate, go ahead and post on the forum. Let's bring this on-line market place back to life!
