I walked into the kennels at mals house. The 5 puppys came running up to me. I smiled as i thought about how well they were doing. After this last session with them they will not need me to train them any more because they will be ready to race. So I grabed all their leads with mal and we walked down to the outdoor track. I had come at 9 pm so we could get the dogs used to running in the dark. All the races that are held at the fantail creek racing stadium are held between 8 and 11 at night. So we walked the dogs out and they all pranced around. We loaded them into the boxes in this order:-
Trap 1:- Torrent
Trap 2:- Syncope
Trap 3:- Light
Trap 4:- spiral
Tarp 5:- Mr. Spunky

So i set the hare off to do 2 bends. The hare went past and Light stormed out of the boxes. He was closely followed by Syncope and Torrent. As they got to the first of the two bends Light ran out a head. By the time they all ran past the finish post Light was 5 lenghts ahead. "Look at that time i shouted to Mal. Stream does those sorts of times and he is the best dog i have seen. You have got yourself a great dog there Mal. You must put them in the races at once." I shouted over to her. Mal looked delighted. After we had caught the dogs i told mal to put each of them in the pool for 15 mins now every day untill the races. Also to give them a hour walk each.

So I got back into my car and i drove home to wait for my stallion which were getting back from leahs that night.
