There was a segment last night on CNN when Jeffrey Toobin gave the history behind Alito's bad behavior to Obama. Obama voted against Alito's confirmation. As the new president, Obama paid a visit to the Supreme Court. Every justic was there to greet him but Alito refused to attend and made no apologies or excuses.

Who said a supreme court justice can't bear grudges? But looking at the broader picture, how does this impact a decision when a judge can hold grudges? Can he be impartial? Alito proves he can't. The next question is does the chief justice have the power to dress down a junior justice?
