Subject: Silly things people say

You have to wonder if people ever think about what they say. Here's a couple of examples you hear every day.

Never buy a dog from a place that raises lots of dogs, the dog won't be social, it'll be diseased, and most of them wind up at the pound.

Ok, how should I get a dog? You should adopt one from the pound.

WAIT A MINUTE. LOL. So it's OK to pay the POUND for a dog farm dog, but not a dog farm. RIIIIGGGGHHHHT. Apparently they become social the minute they hit the pound. And are cured of all genetic disease to boot.

And another one you hear all the time.

Don't pay any attention to the weight you lose the first couple of weeks on a diet, it's just "water weight".

HEY, health 101 says "the human body is 90% composed of water". So ANY weight I lose is going to be 90% water! Say what?

Ha ha ha ha. Does anyone THINK about this stuff?
