These guys have become so insular, they believe the public will approve their actions and catapult them to the top of the heap forever.

Really, they've had at least two chances, or three if you count repealing those tax cuts, to balance the Wisconsin budget. They've flat turned them down, determined to destroy the unions at all costs.

This is dramatic overreach, and will cost them dearly.
