Subject: Loss of rights

So what rights have been lost? How about a right to privacy. Intelligence drones being used domestically. Data mining over the entire web and phone infrastructure. Where does it end? Facism?

Director of National Intelligence Clapper defends administration's surveillance efforts after reports that a secret program is allowing the government to mine nine American tech giants, including Facebook and Google, for user data, a day after a secret court order was disclosed that allows NSA to seize millions of phone records for American Verizon customers.

Republican Rep. James Sensenbrenner from Wisconsin, who co-authored the Patriot Act, was "extremely disturbed by what appears to be an overbroad interpretation of the Patriot act."
