To answeer questions, yes, my real name is Shirley. I see no reason for monikers and can take whatever heat is dished out rather than hiding behind a non de plume.

According to polls, Obama's poll ratings are still 59-62, depending on the polling source, how questions are asked.

Where the difference comes in is tone that's calm, reasonable and yet challenging whereas the previous administration was all about carrying a baseball bat and threatening. Let's be clear while we're at it. What he's been trying to do is change the opinion about the US sabre-rattling.

The conflict in Iran is due to Iranians challenging their own government. Ditto the Honduras, Africa and who else? Or is your view that Obama should solve their problems.

Grandstanding? Are you referring to Bush or Obama? If it's Obama, what he's doing is taking the issues directly to the taxpayers rather than have it filtered through talking heads and snippets.
