It's insanely ludicrous for the Republicans to now gnash their teeth over the spending to get the country back on track considering their wild spending during the past eight years. All one need do is look at the no bid contracts, the wealth generated to companies such as Halliburton, KBR, Black Water and others. What about the missing millions in Iraq that no one has been able to find? What about all those meals Halliburton billed that were never served? What about KBR's insistance that their logo had to be emblazoned on products served to troops that drove up costs? And the list just keeps growing. The Republicans never raised a peep as one program after another was passed with huge price tags and unfunded mandates. Their new found religion is ringing hollow and they know it.

They taught us what family values mean to them. The difference is Dems never campaigned on their "superior" family values.

I'm not totally happy with all the measures Obama has on the table but by God, at least he's trying to get us out of the mess the Republicans created and all they can do is say NO to everything.

Now is the times when party labels and politics should take a back seat to national interests and what's best for the country as a whole, not the few who will benefit.
