Your information while on the surface would appear to be correct falls apart real quick when the surface is scratched. Your claim that the majority of the vehicles sold were foriegn is false. a little less than 41% of the total vehicles sold were foriegn, and the majority of those were manufactured here. The vast majority of that money used to purchase foriegn vehicles went to the dealers (U.S), the workers at the plants (U.S.), the suppliers for those plants (U.S.), and management at those plants (U.S.).

As for GM being owned by the government... The U.S. government is a silent stock holder for that company, and as those stocks are bought back up will be out of the picture. So that money that did go back into government went there as payback and will be used to purchase back those stocks held by the government.

Your claim that the mechanics are hurting is also as unfounded as any of the claims I have seen you make thaus far.

Until next time,

Zif.
