These were to be found in a recent article in "Time" magazine. Whether these apply to the actor or actress playing the villain, the character of the villain or the villainess, or both, I don't know, but they certainly can apply to our Amanda's performance of Lady Sylvia Marsh in "Lair of the White Worm."

1. "Find a reason to be evil."
The building of a convent "on my sacred temple."

2. "See the good in bad."
She certainly enjoys being bad.

3. "Play against type."
The one rule that seems not to apply, as she is certainly the type of woman your mother warned you about.

To be continued . . .
