Dude, Sci-Fi channel only showed it 3 times in a row last night. Well, it starts out with Paul whining that he doesn't wanna leave Caliban. (Atriedes homeworld)

Actually, I'm never sure how to spell it. It's either Atriedes or Atreides. There's an "i" in there somewhere.

Anyway...Paul then goes with his mother to meet the lady who trained her, and she tests Paul. Basically, he has to put his hand in this box and keep it there. She's got a poisoned needle to his neck, and he'll die if he takes his hand out. WE get lovely images of Paul's hand literally melting away, except when he takes it out, he's fine. Later, he spars with Gurney Halleck, with the knives and those cool personal sheilds. Basically, the shields work in that they keep out anything moving quickly, but if you go slow, they wont register it as an attack and so if you slide the blade in slowly, you can get through. So Paul thinks he wins, but Halleck actually has one of his knives to Paul's manhood.

Then they travel to Arrakis, and the only people who can pilot the ships are the space navigators, who nobody is allowed to see, and so we get a nice little CG animatation of then. Really cool.

Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it, Thraxy-baby...I highly doubt they wont show it again.
