I really despise not having any freinds closer than 2,000 mile or so.

Anyway, I've been talkin' to a few people and given the fact that we're really short on manpower, I think we need to consider re-working our planned command structure.

I propose that we simply screw over these overly complicated plans for a Hallmaster and a council and just stick with the single leader.

My reasoning is this: We simply don't have the people to do all this complicated stuff.

The council requires 3 people. We don't even have 3 people who can serve on the council. And if we do, we come up horribly short on housemasters.

I mean, we're not trying to form a fully operational government here. We're talking about a clan. The leader is more of a figurehead than anything else.

Now I don't mean to seem presumptuos, but I think just about everyone knows that this single leader is probably gonna end up being me. Even Drake said so. :-)

That's fine, I'll take the job if we decide to take that path, and frankly, I think we should.

Otherwise, we're gonna be running around here trying to get people into rolls they don't want and aren't good at.

After we fill out our ranks a little bit, however, I see no reason why we can't switch back to a Council situation. But for the moment, we need a single leader, not the psuedo-leader wannabe's we've got right now.
