Well... I would be valedictorian at least, except for the fact that the wonderful people in the guidance office haven't figured out how to weight classes. I'm still the highest ranked guy, but I got beat out by a couple of choir/home-ec girls, so I'm not the valedictorian or salutitorian (sp?). Oh well.

And AP Gov't didn't have a point either, although it sounds like it did when you were in it. Let's set up the scenario: take all of the stuff you did in AP Gov't when you were a senior, and then take out the mock election (and any other relevant projects for that matter, although we did make posters over an election once), and take out getting to go to Dairy Queen or watching a movie on senior skip day, cause those of us that showed up had a study guide to work on, and study guides were about all that we did in that class, so things got pretty boring. I wish I would have been able to take it a year sooner, cause it sounded a lot better then. Anyway, it's storming here, and my parents are telling me to get off the computer.

Oh yeah... that Russian computer I bought... good deal, except for the fact that the processor wasn't actually a 450, cause it was overclocked (a lesser processor that's been tinkered with, for those of you who might be reading this and not know what 'over-clocked' means). Anyway, over-clocked processors generate too much heat and have the habit of locking up every five to ten minutes, making them pretty useless. On top of that, I suspect that the processor was probably counterfeit as well, and a lot of the software that came with the computer, including Win98, were unlicensed copies. I'm still having a fun time trying to get my $1000 back... yes, it was a bit more than $400, but still a great deal for a P2 450, except for the fact that it wasn't actually a P2 450, which I didn't find out until later. It's really annoying when your life savings gets robbed like that (and yes, $1000 was almost my entire bank account). I'm not getting my hopes up, but there's still a chance I'll see some of that money again. Anyway, now I really have to go. Later.

- Jason
