The Undertaker opened RAW live from Norfolk, Va., roaring to the ring on his Titan motorcycle. The Dead Man illustrated his love for America and said he had a problem with people who come into the country and disrespect it. Taker promised to make an example of the Test at SummerSlam. Taker promised to show what happens when you screw with America.

Taker was interrupted by Test, who drove his own motorcycle down the ramp with an upside down American flag in tow. Test snatched the microphone out of Taker's hand and said he realized that it's not just America that sucks, Taker does too! The American Badass jumped Test but was soon taking shots from Christian and Lance Storm as well. Booker T and Goldust raced in and chased off the three UnAmericans!

As the UnAmericans retreated up the ramp, Booker T challenged the trio to take on himself, Goldust and Undertaker! The UnAmericans agreed to meet them in the ring later on!

About a dozen RAW Superstars filled the ring as Eric Bischoff came out to address the arena. The RAW General Manager said that the Hardcore division's 24/7 rule was no more. Bischoff said that everyone in the ring had at one point been a Hardcore Champion. The Bisch said that everyone had six minutes to compete for the title. Whoever held it at the end would be the champion. Bischoff said they could brawl anywhere, but he pointed to a tarp near the stage and ordered everyone to keep clear of it. At the end of the six minutes, Tommy Dreamer fended off Spike, Bubba Ray and Bradshaw to win the title. Suddenly, flames erupted and Kane's entrance music blared, but the Machine didn't appear!

Backstage, Trish and Stacy were bickering when Eric Bischoff walked in and said nobody really cares about women's wrestling, so they should give the fans what they really want to see. Bischoff said Stacy and Trish would have a Bra & Panties Match ... in a pool of mud!

But the real winners were the people watching both live in the arena and on TV. After splashing through the pool of mud, Trish rolled up Stacy on the floor and got the pin! Afterwards, Trish shoved both Stacy and Howard Finkel into the mud!

Backstage, The Rock was given a package mailed by Paul Heyman that contained photos of Hulk Hogan during his ill-fated match with Brock Lesnar on SmackDown!

Triple H took to the ring and said that unless Shawn Michaels signed a contract, there would be no match at SummerSlam. The Game said the contract absolved him of any liability for when he cripples Shawn in the ring. The Game turned his attention to The Rock, explaining that Bischoff had made The Great One's match against Triple H that night a no-disqualification match! As Triple H continued, he was cut short by Chris Jericho! Y2J said he has a lot in common with Triple H. He said they both have an intense hatred for each other and they will each face SummerSlam opponents that are washed-up. As Jericho continued to bash Ric Flair, the Nature Boy came out and stuffed a trash can over Y2J's head and shoved him to the floor!

With the referee directing his attention toward Lance Storm, Christian nailed Goldust with the Tag Team Championship and got the pinfall!

Backstage, the Big Show challenged Rob Van Dam to a match that would put RVD's Intercontinental Title shot at SummerSlam on the line. Bischoff refused to allow that to happen, but allowed RVD to take Show on in a non-title match. Bischoff, worried that RAW's chance to take the IC Title would vanish if RVD got hurt, told the two men to keep the match clean.

While Terri interviewed Ric Flair, Y2J blindsided the Nature Boy and opened a bloody gash on his head.

Show chokeslammed RVD but went to nail him with the ring steps instead of going for the pin. Bischoff came out and screamed, "three minutes," prompting Jamal and Rosie to rush to the ring and assault the Big Show. The two men laid Big Show to waste then exited looking satisfied.

Backstage, Bischoff delivered Shawn Michaels' signed contract from Shawn Michaels. Bischoff threatened to not sanction the match at SummerSlam, saying he was worried about taking on the liability should HBK get hurt. The Game said the match would go forth with or without Bischoff's seal of approval.

Chris Jericho and his band Fozzy rocked Norfolk with a song from their new album, Happenstance. Once they finished, Ric Flair rushed out and trashed the stage, even turning a guitar into a pile of splinters!

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman, with tickets in hand, settled into a pair of ringside seats as Heyman left a taunting message on The Rock's voice mail! Bischoff came out and sternly told Heyman and Brock to keep to themselves during the main event match.

The Rock and Triple H fought to a draw
The Rock used a spinebuster to set Triple H up for a People's Elbow, but The Game kicked out after a two count. Outside the ring, Triple H clocked The Rock with the steel ring steps which was perfectly legal in this no-DQ match. The Game then reached under the ring and brought out a sledgehammer! The Game nailed the referee and stalked The Rock, but Shawn Michaels rushed in and hit his ex-ally! HBK became distracted when Brock Lesnar jumped to the ring apron and Triple H took HBK down. Soon after, Brock traded shots with Michaels and HBK knocked the Next Big Thing over the top rope! Lesnar was being escorted out of the arena by security when The Rock sprinted off into the crowd after his SummerSlam opponent! Back in the ring, HBK vaulted over the top rope and crashed down on Triple H, then beat his arch rival mercilessly as RAW went off the air!
