In 2008, the Miss Earth is going to be held partly in Manila, Philippines, Guam and Indonesia at the beginning of November. The favourites so far seem to be:

Anna Mezentseva is Miss Earth Russia 2008.
Last year, South Africa placed at Miss Earth for the very first time among the semifinalists. May Matapa Maila, Miss South Africa finalist and Miss SA Earth winner, add another success ?
Miss Tenerife and Miss Spain 2007 1st Runner Up, Adriana Reveron, will be another European bet for Miss Earth. Last year, Angela Gomez Duran(Miss Cantabria and Miss Spain 2006 semifinalist), placed 4th.
