I practice reading through several times while I'm writing my speech. For example, I will write the introduction, read through it, write some of the body, then read through it. When It's finished I read through it a couple of times, once to myself and once for a family member. At this point I am working on my visual aids. This has been the difficult part for me because I do not want them to be boring. When I finish the visual aids I will practice my speech couple of times with them. I'm trying to keep in mind the words vivid and memorable.
