Ebonics is a form of communication because not all persons can speak proper english. Slaves were never taught to speak proper english and spoke ebonics. Poor communities black and white speak ebonics and to those communities it is proper. It is a form of communication because everyone has not been educated to speak the so called educated or porper way. These people communicate and understand what is communicated.
