That's the beauty of having taken an Ethics class. What is even more astonishing is that there are probably even worse things that happen than this example. 60 minutes aired an interesting story on Sunday about all the impropieties that happen on Wall Street, and what happened when someone finally blew the whistle. Realize that at any moment, any of us may have to choose between satisfying a corrupt employer and living up to our own standards of conduct. Hopefully, we may have thought through that decision process, and react accordingly when the time comes. Be prepared to walk away from a job where your employer asks you to compromise your ethical standards.
