Dark eyes find the sapphire ones of Yavieba and his body tenses. His brow furrows in anger at himself for ever feeling anything again. Hadn't he sworn that he would live in pain for the rest of his life because of what happened to Moon? If he had only been there she would still be with him. It had been his fault, and he deserved to never love and be loved in return again. Yet now he was betraying his own promise by feeling anything at all for this dragoness, this Shadowess before him. His eyes were filled with pain and confusion as he looked away from her. He wanted to be her friend, but what would he do about these feelings? He takes a deep breath, all emotion leaving those black orbs. He would simply ignore what he felt. The more pain, the more punishment, but did he not deserve it? He turns back towards her and gives her a charming smile. I guess that just proves a Western can't beat a Shadow. I better not ever get stuck against your kind in a battle or I'm doomed.
