~thinking~ No, thats not completely true. It was the ancient Romans who wore the laurel reefs when they won sporting events, held Triumphs (won war with other countries) or were very high as Dictators. The only Roman ever to be allowed to wear the reef at all time was Julius Ceasar, who was proclaimed Dictator for Life (something unprecedented) about 40 years before Christ. ~opens her textbook~ I don't know much about reece though. ~starts flipping through it to find the page~
