I found your new forum very interesting and hope to see responses from others. My husband is away on a 2-3 week business trip (he takes several a year), and I'm here with my cats and his dog---who requires far more care than my cats, of course.

I'm a very self-sufficient, modern working girl, but also a very social being. I don't have time to "party" or throw a party, and most of my old friends are married with kids by now. I'm not hoping to have kids ("single" parenthood sounds like a drag), but I was hoping to have a husband?!!!

Let the venting begin, ladies!
