He wasn't a deep sleeper and the sound of hoofbeats brought him immediately awake. Lifting his head, he looked around. But there was nothing to be seen, just the inky blackness of the night. "That's wierd." He said softly to himself. When he was about to put his head back down, his nose caught the scent of horse. Maycon knew that his ears might have fooled him, but he knew his nose never told lies. Rising to his feet, he crept to where the smell was coming from. He almost stumbled on the sleeping horse. He looked at her, she was very hard to see because of her coloring. Immediately he was on his guard. He crouched low and waited to see if she was faking her sleep. Nothing happened for a while, but yet he waited. His eyes reflected the moonlight eerily as he watched the motionless form... waiting.
