(Halifax)-It looks like the days of Robert Luongo shouldering the brunt of the goaltending for Halifax duties are over, at least for now. With Jamie Storr's recent start against lowly Steeltown, it marks the third goalie to get a shot at the starters' job this year. The fact that he not only won his start, but inspired hisd teammates to their best offensive output of the year, only muddles the picture further. After two games in which Luongo gave up six tallies, the 11-1 decision by Storr was welcome indeed. Further, it seems like that game pushed regular back-up Dan Cloutier into turning in a stellar performance against Whitehorse winning 5-1.

"We noticed that both Roberto and Dan where having trouble when we went to them more than twice a week," admitted Coach Dave Lewis. "Jamie was having a great season down in Dartmouth so we figured, why not stick him in there and see what happened."

Granted it was the worst team in the league, but still the results have to be encouraging. Both Luongo and Cloutier have shown that given the proper amount of rest they can perform like #1 goalies in this league, this season.

"Obviously, I'd like to be out there playing more games, but you can't say I haven't been given my chance," stated Luongo. "It's probably all for the best anyway. This will give me a bit more time to get used to the starters role."
