Then there was this post game press conference that will no doubt draw huge fines from the Head Office in Winnipeg. In what can only be described as a “spirited” affair, Quebec continued it’s winning ways last night with a 7-6 victory in Calgary. That however is where the story begins, not ends. (We must warn you in advance that this story is very graphic.) GM Dean Belanger and Coach Pat Burns had a few choice words for the Calgary team and the league for not taking any actions. Said Belanger. “Mario Lemiuex. Mario Fu**ing Lemiuex. Were not talking about some 4th line piece of shit here. Two shifts he plays, has an amazing assist and he’s out of the game. Oh but it’s better than that…the shift before little Miss Marian Gaborik runs over Patrick Lalime and breaks his foot. “ Coach Burns was just as animated, if not worse. “I heard that fu**cker Zdeno Chara say he was taking Mario out. It’s no secret that he has a bad back. So what does that stupid tree on skates do? He cross checks him across the chest and puts him out for at least two weeks! Great so both players are ejected and we win the game, BIG FUC**ING DEAL! It’s only game 24 and it’s Calgary. Those pricks will be lucky to make the playoffs. Then it really got ugly when Belanger discovered there was to be no further action from the league. “Are they serious? Do you know who we play tomorrow? Calgary. Do they want a war, because that is exactly what they are going to get. Too bad for me now that I can goon up because of cap issues. Our regulars will just have to step up and get the job done. I will personally pay for any fines that my team encounters in that game. See you in Quebec pricks! With that the interviews were over and I’m sure the commissioner was watching with great interest and will be watching tomorrow in the rematch. Game time is 7.00 and is already sold out.
