Montreal, PQ - With only eight games left to play, the Marauders are trailing the surging London Lasers by six points. In a pivotal match, the two face off tomorrow in a game that could basically determine which team moves on to the playoffs.

"It's up to us," said GM Sean Gallagher, "if we lose, we don't make it in. Even if we DO win, we still might not make it."

"We have to have the mindset that we have to win-out," said Coach John Tortorella, "that includes tomorrow. If we can beat them, the it gives us life. If not...."

The Lasers have put together a win streak as the Marauders have sagged, meaning that the last playoff spot could be determined as soon as this weekend or could go down to the very end of the year.

The Marauders are counting on solid efforts from their typical offensive horses, but also need the defense to pull together as bully Sean Hill sits out the last two games of his suspension. A suspension that has dfinitely hurt Monteal's cause. The Marauders have lost two of the three games he has been out by one goal. Hill's aggressiveness and brutality have been missed.

One factor the Marauders can count on tomorrow is a raucous Forum crowd. All seats have been claimed and the fans are ready. They all echo the sentiments of Marauders forward Todd Bertuzzi, who said, "this is the time. We have to start right now."
