When PDFE fail to understand the encryption version used by the protection (currently do not support all the pdf protection specifications) can not edit the information in the pdf document, only enter the information to the PDFE database. If you later move the file you lose the information because for PDFE the file is another file. While this issue is not fixed, move the file using the PDFE interface, “Edit>Move to… “ or “GridContextMenu>Move to…”. This way for PDFE the file is the same, so, do not need to update the information from the file.
