Backup your database (Database>Backup) to later use if problem is not that ( and of course only if the current database contents is important to you). Now delete the database files, using Windows explorer, from the PDFE folder: PDEDB.inf PDEDB.idx PDFEInd.hts PDFEInd.hta PDFEInd.hbs PDFEInd.dls Back to PDFE, scan again your disk(s) using, the direct scan mode, DiskTree. Try now if the Database>Maintenance tool work.
