If I understand you well you can do that already. Use the QuickEdit mode (Tools>QuickEdit or F4 Key). You get the PDF View and the InfoEdit tool in the same view. Just select the text from the Text or All reader modes and past it in the respective info field. To update the fields in the PDFE database and the file itself, if present in a RW drive, you only need to click the diskette button (visible when info fields changed), or the Ctrl+S keyboard shortcut or just jump to another file, using the navigation buttons, or the Ctrl-up, Ctrl-down keyboard shortcuts.
