You are the first to report this problem. If possible, e-mail to me one, or the link to one, of these problematic files.
The PDFInfoEditAndTip has now been replaced by PDF-ShellTools. Check if with this new implementation you also have problems. The metadata scan code used in PDFE is the same used in PDF-ShellTools.
