Select, in the grid, the documents you want to edit, or leave all unselected if you want submit in the batch all the grid files, select that batch tool from the "Batch Tools" run it and in his dialog window enable the Author field checking his right checkbox and fill the field with the information. Now you just need to click the "Go" button and the batch tool begin to change all the Author fields. If doubts persist fell free to insist ;-) Check also my other tool,PDF-ShellTools.
