This is a internal limitation imposed by some DateTime handling functions used for sort proposes. They only handle the 1980<=2107 interval. For the meaning of these fields (Creation and Modification date) this interval is adequate but the use you what to give to them is pertinent and I have now added to the TODO list the task to extend this interval.
