Subject: making a trailer frame

I obtained a light two rail dirt bike trailer thats severely rusted out. I'm going to make a new frame using 1/8in thick U-channal. I'm looking into getting a MIG welder and was wondering what anyone would recommend for this type of job. For the long run I know I want one that runs off of 220v.
