I am a Canadian that has experienced damage (crack) in one of the gear housings that holds the hydraulic motor for the track.

As careful as possbile I welded with a standard 7014 Rod
preheated but cooled quickly. Within minutes the crack
reapeared.

Where can I get Cast Welding (stick) rods in Canada and what are the names of the rods.

HELP, HELP?
