"Art, literature and science prospered as they then prospered nowhere else in Europe... "Mathematics, astronomy, botany, history, philosophy and jurisprudence were to be mastered in Spain, and Spain alone. Whatever makes a kingdom great and prosperous, whatever tends to refinement and civilization, was found in Muslim Spain... If only Malaysia can be like Muslim Spain......... But to achieve that we must have eduacted people like Muslim Spain in the fields of art, literature and science, mathematics, astronomy, botany, history, philosophy and jurisprudence. In our case it seems we lack people who are well educated (compared to other citizens of Malaysia) in those fields. Kita ada Prof. Najib, Prof. MSZ Sopian, Prof. Khalid Mohd Nor - tu tok cukop. We need more the likes of Jabir Ibn Haiyan, Al Khwarizmi, Ibn Ishaq Al-Kindi, Ibn Sina, Omar Al Khayyam, Al Ghazali, Ibn Rushd and Ibn Khaldun to mention a few. Guana gamok. Beto dok tu.
